Here my forum post, if you do not believe me. Still, FG Classic has one of the worst and most archaic networking codes. I respect FG team, I respect Damned for he helps people day in night out. Damned helped me all the way and in the end he was even "It should've worked". Like I have mentioned, it is like a lottery. Of course both host and client need to have a stable Internet connection. There's nothing lottery like about it at all - if you redirect the correct router port to the host and players don't have malfunctioning firewalls messing with their client connections, it connects every time. Note: Not a single one of my players has ever had a problem connecting when I host with FGC Ultimate - including those running the demo client on Linux.
